Frigidaire FFSC2323LS 22.6 Cu. Ft. Side By Side Stainless Steel Review

With an MSRP of $1899 and a quality that feels like it should be half the price, the FFSC2323LS offers solid temperature consistency and won't add a ton to your electric bill, but it doesn't offer anything to explain the high cost.

With all the variety of refrigerators available on the market today, manufacturers can find some rather surprising ways to make their products stand out. Some offer superior energy efficiency, some have reliable temperature control, others offer expansive interiors. Some, however, can easily be lost in the shuffle, offering average performance for a price that's just high enough to be discouraging.

The Frigidaire FFSC2323LS, unfortunately, is one of the latter. With a very high MSRP for a mid-level fridge - it's set at $1899 - and performance characteristics that are surpassed by other, even cheaper fridges, there's very little going for this particular model. Some times this can be overlooked for exceptional sale prices, but the best we found dropped it down to just $1485 - still rather high for a fridge of this quality. True, temperature variations often plague side-by-sides, and this Frigidaire did better in that respect than others that we've tested, but not enough to justify spending that much money on it.
