Frigidaire Gallery FGUB2642LF 25 Cu. Ft. French Door Stainless Steel Review
The Frigidaire Gallery FGUB2624LF is an excellent choice for consumers who want to upgrade to a stainless steel French door fridge without spending their life savings. That said, it has some lower-end design elements that may turn off some picky shoppers.
French door fridges are known for their style, space...and high-end price tags. The Frigidaire Gallery FGUB2642LF offers the look of a high-end fridge, as well as the feel and performance of a mid-range model. It has a few low-end flaws thrown in (we'll never be a fan of wire shelves), but the less-than-perfect design is balanced by solid temperature consistency and exceptional energy ratings. Perhaps one of the most important things is the cost: it has an MSRP of just $2299, already low considering French door standards. We were able to find sale prices online which dropped it down to as low as $1600, too. It's hard to find a deal that good these days, and we definitely encourage consumers to add this one to their list of contenders, especially if you're looking to furnish your kitchen while keeping your budget intact.
