Magic Chef MCBR415S 4.0 Cu. Ft. Stainless Look Compact Refrigerator Review

For consumers on a big budget who want something more than a truly mini fridge but don't have room for even a smaller full-sized model, we present the Magic Chef MCBR415S. With performance ratings that were surprisingly high, it's worth the average price of $239... if you can find it, that is.

Introduction

Consider this set of circumstances: you're shopping for a fridge on an incredibly tight budget, you've got a small kitchen, but you need something larger than a basic, miniscule compact along the lines of what you'd find in a college dorm room. Well, Magic Chef has an answer to your problem: the MCBR415S, a taller-than-average—though still technically mini—fridge with separate storage compartments, very strong performance ratings, and enough storage space for one or two individuals. Unfortunately, we had a notoriously difficult time finding a new one through online retailers; Home Depot, at least, is selling it for $239 at the moment. If you can find it, buy it: it may not be terribly energy efficient, but it's one of the best mini fridges we've tested so far.
