Not content with simply building the best-performing OLED televisions and front-load laundry, Korean conglomerate LG has announced a new design-forward brand that will debut at CES in January.

Called LG Signature, the brand is designed especially for the U.S. market. It already has its own website—but be forewarned, it comes with a soundtrack reminiscent of a Vegas club.

According to LG, a special team designed the Signature series with input from "leading design experts." The resulting products are streamlined, stripped of any unnecessary ornamentation, and should "deliver a sense of exclusivity" to owners.

"LG SIGNATURE is a unique evolution not only for our brand, but for the industry as a whole," said LG global marketing officer Brian Na.

The Signature lifestyle also extends to the kitchen and laundry room, with a sleek washing machine, refrigerator, and air purifier. We’ll have to wait until the curtain rises at CES to get a better look, but the lineup appears to include a four-door refrigerator with either a glass door or touchscreen, a contemporary front-load washing machine with hidden controls, and a design-forward air purifier.

Check out Reviewed.com between January 5th and 9th for live coverage of CES in Las Vegas. Our experts will be offering in-depth looks at the new technology and products you'll be buying in 2016.
